Monet is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher and Polestar movement professional who grew up in the Burlington area.  After attending Skidmore College and living in New York City for 10 years, she moved back to the area in 2012.  A lower back injury brought her to Pilates as a means to get better and she fell in love with the method.  From there she studied in both Montreal with Chantal Perron and Veronique Lefort and Los Angeles with Mette Hansen where she completed her Polestar Comprehensive training and testing.  She went on to train with Anatomy Trains and the ECHO program with the Ehlers Danlos Society for movement specialists working with EDS and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder.  With a strong background in rehabilitative Pilates, Monet teaches in a traditional contemporary style, cueing Joseph Pilates repertoire and following his principles of movement.
